  >> Founder and President of The Nadel Consulting Group, Inc. (1991)
The firm is an Executive and Employee Compensation firm located in Westchester County, NY. The practice works with both publicly traded and privately owned businesses ranging in size from Fortune 500 clients to start up businesses. They are in various stages of development and seek our advice on the most effective pay strategies for the design and development of salary, annual incentive and long term incentives that will 1) attract, 2) retain 3) reward and 4) motivate executives and employees. Because of different ownership structures and stages of development, these companies have different cultures, requiring different strategies and solutions for attracting, retaining and motivating employees.

>>Elected as an Independent Outside Director to the Board of Directors of a publicly traded company (HAUP: NASDQ) in 2003. He brings a broad overview of business practices to the board, and serves on the Compensation Committee.

>>President of Human Resources Spectrum, Inc., a NYS Corporation that integrates the practices of a variety of human resources, compensation and benefits management consulting firms under one NYS corporation.

>>He is Immediate Past President of the New York Chapter (2,000 members) of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the principal national professional society for human resources professionals. Prior to his election as President of the NY Chapter he was Chair of the Compensation Section for the New York City Chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management, and the Westchester Chapter as well. As a result he gives frequent seminars and writes monthly columns on various topics of executive and employee compensation and other Human Resources and management issues.

>>Partner-in-Charge of the Actuarial, Benefits, Compensation and Communications Practice for the New York Office and the Northeast Region for Deloitte and Touche (1989-1991).

>>Managing Partner for the Northeast Region and General Manager of the New York Office for The Hay Group. (1969-1989). Simultaneously, he was the National Practice Head for Financial Industry Consulting. All of the above practices are known for their significant compensation and management consulting practices

>>Interim Executive Director of the New York Business Group on Health (1995-1996). Developed a turnaround strategy for this business.

>>Past member of the Pfizer Advisory Board on Managed Care, representing the business point of view to the medical community.

>>Member of the Healthy Babies, Healthy Business, National Advisory Board for the March of Dimes (1995-Present).

>>Serves as Adjunct Professor of Management at the Graduate Programs in Business at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, and at Pace University, in White Plains, NY. His course specialization is in Advanced Compensation Management and Measurement at the Graduate level. He was recently on a panel to review the Master's Degree in Human Resources at Mercy College.

During his consulting career, Dr. Nadel has worked in a variety of industries, including banking, health care, technology, broadcasting and publishing and a variety of special circumstances companies.
